Catering Group Size Options:

• Live teppanyaki: up to 50 guests.

• Cocktail Buffet Style: Suitable for larger events, accommodating 40 to 150 guests.

• Special requests for varying group sizes can be accommodated upon consultation.

 

Customized Menu Planning:

• Menus must be finalized at the time of booking. Availability of menu items cannot be guaranteed for last-minute changes.

• Menus are priced per adult: Samurai Course $140, Double Wagyu Delight $175, Kobe Degustation $330. Kids menu ($59, 12 and under) and vegetarian menu ($118) are available on request.

 

Dietary Requirements:

• Please communicate any allergies or dietary restrictions during booking. While every effort is made to accommodate these needs, some requests may not be feasible.

 

Booking and Confirmation Process:

1. Initial Inquiry: Complete and submit our catering request form.

2. Consultation: Our team will contact you for a detailed discussion.

3. Proposal: Receive a sample menu and quote for approval.

4. Confirmation: once you confirm the quote, we issue an invoice.

5. Payment: full payment within 2 weeks of the invoice secures your date. For events less than 14 days away, payment is due at once and is non-refundable.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

• Cancellations 14+ days before the event: Full refund.

• Cancellations 7 to 14 days before the event: 50% refund.

• Cancellations within 7 days of the event: No refund.

 

Equipment and Service Charges:

• Fine Dining: $25 per person for cutlery and crockery.

• Cocktail Buffet Style: $5 per person for disposable plates and cutlery.

• Chef and service: $300 for two staff for up to 2 hours, including the mobile grill, gas, setup and cleaning. Extra staff or time: $75 per staff member per hour, charged in half-hour steps.

• Minimum order: $1,000 per event, including all charges.

• Venue: a covered outdoor area with good airflow, or a working range hood indoors.

 

Delivery and Distance Fee:

• Complimentary within 10km of Samurai Teppanyaki House.

• Beyond 10km: $20 per kilometer (distance calculated via Google Maps). Long distances are quoted at a fixed price.

 

Payment and Additional Charges:

• Saturday Surcharge: 5% on total bill.

• Sunday Surcharge: 10% on total bill.

• Public Holiday Surcharge: 15% on total bill.

 

Alcohol Policy:

• Due to licensing, alcohol is not provided. Hosts are responsible for supplying all beverages and drinkware.
