Terms and Conditions for Catering Services

Catering Group Size Options:

  • Fine Dining: Available for intimate gatherings of 2 to 50 guests.

  • Cocktail Buffet Style: Suitable for larger events, accommodating 40 to 150 guests.

  • Special requests for varying group sizes can be accommodated upon consultation.

 

Customized Menu Planning:

  • Menus must be finalized at the time of booking. Availability of menu items cannot be guaranteed for last-minute changes.

 

Dietary Requirements:

  • Please communicate any allergies or dietary restrictions during booking. While every effort is made to accommodate these needs, some requests may not be feasible.

 

Booking and Confirmation Process:

  1. Initial Inquiry: Complete and submit our catering request form.

  2. Consultation: Our team will contact you for a detailed discussion.

  3. Proposal: Receive a sample menu and quote for approval.

  4. Confirmation: Upon agreement of menu and pricing, an invoice will be issued.

  5. Payment: Due at least two weeks prior to the event, unless alternate arrangements are made.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

  • Cancellations 14+ days before the event: Full refund.

  • Cancellations less than 14 days before the event: 50% refund.

  • Day-of-event cancellations: No refund.

 

Equipment and Service Charges:

  • Fine Dining: $25 per person for cutlery and crockery.

  • Cocktail Buffet Style: $5 per person for disposable plates and cutlery.

  • Service Fee: A $300 chef fee applies, covering up to 2 hours of on-site cooking and service, grill hire, and preparation.

 

Delivery and Distance Fee:

  • Complimentary within 10km of Samurai Teppanyaki House.

  • Beyond 10km: $20 per kilometer (distance calculated via Google Maps).

 

Surcharge Policy:

  • Sundays and Public Holidays: 15% surcharge.

  • Saturdays: 5% surcharge.

 

Alcohol Policy:

  • Due to licensing, alcohol is not provided. Hosts are responsible for supplying all beverages and drinkware.
